Swim districts begins on Thursday, November 5th at 5 p.m. at Marysville High School. Finals will be held Saturday, November 7th, starting at 12:30 p.m. We have 16 girls on the district team. Come support the team as they try to qualify for state.

2009 FFA National Competition Results |
|
National FFA Organization National Event Winners-- Agricultural Mechanics and Environmental/Natural Resources 2009
During the week of October 19th 10 students from Stanwood High School traveled to Indianapolis, Indiana to compete in the 82nd National FFA Competition. Two teams placed in the top 10. The Environmental/Natural Resources team placed 2nd and the Agricultural Mechanics team placed 3rd.
The students were accompanied by their advisors Mr. Ryan Ovenell and Mr. Darryl Main.
Environmental/Natural Resources 2009 team members:
Thor Pearson, Jack Medlicott, Andrew Salmon, and Alexa Flem
Agricultural Mechanics 2009 team members:
Scott Weisse, Brandon Nickels, Pender Rink, and Kaity Hampton

Winter Sports Sign Ups Going on Now |

Winter Sports sign-ups going on now. If you are interested in wrestling, boys basketball, girls basketball or boys swimming come to the Athletic Dept. and sign up. Eligibility packets are available on line: click on Athletics in the main menu to the left, then click on Eligibility information. The first day of Winter sports turn out is November 16th. All eligibility packets must be turned in before 3:00 Thursday, November 12th to ensure they will be processed in time for the first turn out. Contact the Athletic Department with any questions, 360-629-132.
