The third quarter for this school year ends on Tuesday, April 11th.  Students need to get all missing work in by that date, unless otherwise noted by their teachers.

High School administrators were informed March 28th of a social media posting regarding clowns being on campus this Friday, March 31st.  Stanwood youth have begun participating in the social media blitz.  The Stanwood-Camano School District is working with the Stanwood Police Department who is also aware of the social media posting.

The Stanwood Police Department does not believe there is any specific information indicating risk to staff or students.

Our priority is, as always, the physical and emotional safety of students and staff. We also want to let parents/guardians know that the district is aware of the social media post and that we will maintain communication with parents/guardians of any developments in the story.

Anytime you see anyone doing anything criminal or suspicious, whether they are dressed as a clown or not, you should call 911. If students or parents/guardians have information that may be perceived as threatening, they are encouraged to call the Stanwood Police Department or talk to their school administrator.

Stanwood High School will be offering suicide prevention peer-to-peer training to 120 students on April 17th and 18th.  Students were nominated by their teachers to participate in the training.  Permissions slips need to be returned to the main office by April 11th.
