Macho Volleyball Tournament today, March 19th @ 7:00pm in the Main Gym.

In celebration of the start of Spring, your student government team is sponsoring a "Spirit Week" next week with 5 themed dress up days. Details will be published soon; stay tuned!

"Do you want to go to Iceland to learn about volcanoes, glaciers, and other STEM based topics while having experiences that will last a lifetime?  If yes, go to Mr. Swanson's room for a quick informational meeting after school this Thursday.  There are no class requirements and everyone is welcome and invited.  If you have questions, ask Mr. Swanson."

AP Tests are now on sale!  Pay in the SHS main office and bring your receipt and registration to Cyndie in the counseling office.  If you are free/reduced lunch see Cyndie in the counseling office for a fee waiver

The Senior Class is sponsoring the third annual senior family dessert night tomorrow, March 20th @ 6:30 pm. – 7:30 pm. in the Commons. Parents will also be selling Grad Night tickets and answering questions about the parent sponsored Grad Night party. See Ms. Kelly with any questions.

Student Senate meeting today second period in the Library.

Stanwood HI-Q has once again secured the first chair in the State Championship! As a result we will be hosting the match this Friday during 3rd period. Congratulations to Andrew Killinger, Peniel Hunt, Lily Cunningham, Logan Ritterbush, Jacob Spores, Henry Johnson, Kylah Boyer, and Peyton Wickstrom.

Today Monday, March 18th is the deadline to submit your application for an ASB officer position for next school year. Please see Mr. Colby (room 322) or Mrs. Coombs (in the main office) to sign up for a "readiness interview" to be held tomorrow (Tuesday, March 19) after school.

"Night in Neon" Blacklight dance will be held Friday, March 29th in the SHS Commons. This dance is casual themed, and goes from 8pm-10pm. For more information see Mrs. Davenport, Ashley Sellers, Savannah Jones, Jamie Bartlett or Matlyn Miller. Tickets will go on sale next week.

Talent Show today, May 12th starting at 6 pm.  Tickets will be sold at the door: $5 with an ASB card, $7 without. 

 

 

 

Biology End of Course Exam study sessions will be held every Wednesday in Mrs. Hauenstein's room (591) from 2:30 to 3:30 pm. All students who will take the Biology EOC exam in June are invited to attend.

 

 

 

AP Testing today.  There will be no bells during testing time.

 

 

 

Do you want to be part of the Class of 2017 Commencement Ceremony?  ARCH BEARER and ATTENDANT Applications are available in the decorated box located on the table inside the main office doors.  Guys and Gals needed!!!  Any questions, please see Mrs. Lein in room 656, the JAGWear Room.

 

 

 

Attention students.

 

The end of the school year is rapidly approaching.  If you have library or textbooks at home that you are no longer using, please return them to the SHS library as soon as possible.  All books are due back by May 30th unless otherwise stated by your teacher.  All textbooks and library books must be returned before the school year ends.  

 

 

 

Seniors, you must have all books returned and damage/lost book fines paid before graduation!  If you have outstanding fines or missing books, you may not be able to walk at graduation.  Please check your Skyward account as well as your Destiny Library account for details.  If you have books or fines from previous school years, please check with Ms. Byrum or Mrs. McNeal in the SHS library for specific details to ensure your account is all clear for graduation.

 

 

 

Attention all students:  If you are still using the old google accounts that end with the domain: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. you may want to save your old information and transfer it to your NEW google account: @k12.scsd.ac., as these old accounts will be DELETED in July.  If you have old documents, presentations, and spreadsheets saved here, they will no longer be accessible after this summer.  If you would like instructions on how to transfer this information to your NEW google accounts, please stop by the SHS library and we will give you an instruction handout.  Save it before it gets deleted!
