We will offer volunteer training at 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday, August 30th in the SHS library (directly after the Parent/Guardian Academy).  We will offer HIB (harassment) training from 11 - 11:30 a.m. in the library as well.  Volunteers are required to go through one initial volunteer training to volunteer.  The HIB training is good for two years.

Stanwood High School administrators will host our annual parent/guardian academy for new parents/guardians to SHS on Wednesday, August 30th at 8:15 a.m.  This event includes a tour of the school and general information about SHS.  Please meet in the SHS commons (just inside the front doors of the school).  We look forward to meeting you.

To take school photos, yearbook photos, and ASB card/id card photos, students can come on one of the following days:  August 30th, August 31st, and September 5th between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the SHS commons.  All students are required to get a photo taken for identification/safety purposes.

The staff and students of Stanwood High School would like to invite all incoming freshmen – all members of the Class of 2021 – to come to the Freshmen Orientation on Wednesday, August 30th.  The orientation will be held in the Stanwood High School gym beginning at 8:00 a.m. and running until noon. It promises to be a high-energy, fun morning and will include tours of the school.  Additionally, freshmen that attend the orientation will receive their class schedules.   There will be a 4A Booster Club sponsored BBQ lunch provided directly after the orientation.  Students may also purchase ASB cards, yearbooks, and have school pictures taken after the orientation.

Please plan on making your first experience at Stanwood High School a positive one by attending the Link Crew Freshmen Orientation on Wednesday, August 30th.
