Any student who is in the Class of 2012 and beyond that wants to attend a 4-year University in Washington State should become familiar with new college entrance requirements.  The Higher Educational Coordinating Board (HECB) recently announced revised college entrance requirements.  Click on the attached document for more information.

Starting September 3rd, here is how you can make a schedule change:

Class of 2010 Students:

A student needs to pass the reading and writing portions of the WASL in order to graduate.  If a student hasn’t passed either of these portions, there are a number of alternative assessments your child can complete.  For the math portion of the WASL, a student must either pass the math WASL assessment or successfully take and pass a math course during the junior and senior year.  There are also alternative assessments a student can complete if he/she doesn’t pass the math WASL exam or pass the math course.  Listed below are the alternative assessments for current seniors.
