WESCO Spectator Guidelines and Sportsmanship Code
The essential elements of character-building and ethics in interscholastic athletics are embodied in the concept of seven core principles: sportsmanship, discipline, leadership, teamwork, responsibility, dedication, and respect. In an effort to demonstrate sportsmanship in the stands we ask all spectators to adhere to these 5 basic guidelines.
 I will appreciate all good plays and players whether they compete for my team or my opponent.
 I will remember that school athletics are an extension of the classroom, and that learning is taking place.
 I will be positive and use respectful language toward players, coaches, officials, and other spectators.
 I will respect the abilities and sensitivities or our opponents and officials, regardless of the outcome of the contest.
 I will remember that my actions reflect on others, including students, school, and the community

Covid-19 Guidelines:
In an attempt to support efforts to continue offering high school athletics and the opportunity for spectators to attend athletic events, the Stanwood-Camano School District is requiring that all spectators, coaches, support personnel, and athletes on the sidelines, wear masks while on school grounds. We appreciate your cooperation.

Winter Screening Testing - Click for: CONSENT FORM - FACT SHEET
Screening testing is required for all unvaccinated athletes in basketball, wrestling, and cheer per WIAA guidelines. All vaccinated and unvaccinated winter athletes (except swimming) must sign and return the Consent Form to the Athletic Office no later than Friday, November 12 to be eligible to participate.

Transportation Waiver:

In an effort to provide additional social distancing for athletes, the Stanwood-Camano School District is allowing families to provide their own transportation for away competitions this year. Click here to print the Overnight Waiver for State (turn in to Athletic Office).

Pay to Participate:
Athletes will be required to pay a participation fee (Athletic Pay to Participate Form), after tryouts and prior to the day of the first competition. Students will also be required to purchase an ASB card. We recommend purchasing the ASB card at the beginning of the year to take full advantage of its benefits, including free or discounted high school events.

Parents/guardians of students who qualify for the National Free and Reduced-Price meal program (NFRP) are eligible for a waiver of the ASB card and participation fee. Parents/guardians are responsible for providing the Notice letter to the Athletic Department annually, along with the Permission to Share Form. Fees are also reduced or waived for College Bound or McKinney-Vento students.
