Graduation information:
We will hold two Diploma Days on June 2nd and 3rd.  Since Snohomish County will not be at Phase 2 by June 2nd, we will record our ceremony at Utsalady Elementary School on Camano Island (608 Arrowhead Rd., Camano, WA  98282).  Seniors will walk across the stage in the gym and pick up a diploma cover.  Parents/guardians (up to four family members) will be able to watch from the hallway.  We will have a photographer on site to take a photo of the senior.  Family members can also get a picture taken with their student.  You will receive information about where to view the photos and then you can choose what you want to purchase (FireFly Photography).  For exact days/times for your senior, please click on the link below.  Diploma day schedule June 2nd-3rd 2020 STUDENT SCHEDULE.pdf

Are you interested in joining the SHS Link Crew? We are looking for 45 current juniors and sophomores to join our existing Crew Leaders. Link Leaders are trained to work with the incoming freshman class and other new students who are entering Stanwood High School next fall.  After extensive training, the Link Leaders will run freshman orientation before school starts in September.  At the orientation, each Link Leader will be given a small group of freshmen to work with that day and will be asked to befriend and to help that group during the first week of school with any challenges they may face.  Link Leaders will also join their freshmen groups during advisory class throughout the school year.  We know that the more contact a freshman has with his or her Link Leader, the more successful the freshman will be. If you are interested in applying to be part of the SHS Link Crew, look for the application in your school email.   If you have any questions, email Mrs. Kelly at jkelly@stanwood.wednet.edu.
